I just submitted my LAST assignment for my class. YIPPEE! It is over, and I have an A so far. Hopefully, I will still have an A when these last 5 assignments are graded!
Now I can take a break. Until November 9th anyway, when the next class starts!
I can go to church tomorrow and the Burlington Fire Department's Annual Pancake Breakfast without worrying about finishing any assignments!

Rainy Days & Mondays
I had a really nice surprise this morning. I had just hit the snooze button for the VERY last time (I prolong getting up in the morning as long as I can! I was at the just a quick shower, no make-up, and rush out the door point) and my phone rang. It was Jami from work, asking if I would like to stay home on call today. Well, DUH? So, here I am.......chillaxin & hoping my phone doesn't ring.

Hair Follow-Up
I ran into the daughter of a patient I took care of at the nursing home last week, and she said, "Allison, you look about 21 with your hair longer." I guess I will be growing/maintaining it rather than cutting it!
Rainy Day
Gage & I went to Jameson's flag football game this afternoon. It was raining, so we parked the car by the fence and watched from the car. There was a little girl (who happens to go to the same day care as my boys) watching her brother play also. She was swinging her arms around, bouncing, jumping, and looking rather crazy. I made the comment to Gage that An*&^$ looked "half crazy" the way she was jumping around. He very sweetly replied, "Mommy, she is not half crazy....she IS crazy."

Church
I may have posted this awhile back, but our next door neighbor is the pastor of a church here in Burlington. We lived here for quite awhile before I found this out, and I was horrified to think that maybe he heard me yelling at my kids or doing something else "unchristian." Anyway, the boys don't know his occupation. He & his wife are just the "blue house neighbors", and we meet on their porch during fire drills.
We were out in the garage on Saturday night, helping Karter put siding on the garage. On our way into the house, Gage smiled very sweetly & said, "Hello. I have to go inside now and get some sleep for church tomorrow."
